Erisha Erickson was born in Rochester, NY & is based out of Rochester, Toronto and the Bay Area, California. She has studied at the Visual Studies Workshop, the Glasgow School of Art and is a Graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute.

With a romantic and nostalgic view on life, her attention to detail and formal arrangements create a lyrical and poetic vision.  Erisha captures timeless beauty, a glimpse into the spirit. She has been using an antique medium format film camera since age 18, letting her heart guide and dashing between the two planes of heaven and earth to capture a glimpse of the beauty.

Her projects are prayers and inspirations, dreams, visions she has. Erisha is humble and grateful for her gift to see the beauty in this world.

These Photos are a glimpse into the journey of the freedom of her spirit. Erisha uses film because of the permanence of the grain and the tiny imperfections that come alone with it. It's important, crucial and an honor to keep the beauty of the roots of this art form alive that has been lost over the years.
